Abu dhabi: Operations at Abu Dhabi's Habshan gas facilities were suspended after falling debris from an intercepted aerial threat sparked a fire, authorities said on Friday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Abu Dhabi Media Office released a statement through Emirates News Agency (WAM) detailing the response to two incidents involving falling debris at the Habshan gas facilities and in the Ajban area. The incidents followed a successful air defense interception.
The statement further explained that operations at the Habshan gas facilities were halted as authorities worked to extinguish the fire caused by the debris. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
