Gaza city: A number of Palestinians were killed and injured on Monday in the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) cited medical sources stating that several citizens lost their lives and others sustained injuries when occupation forces bombed a residential building in the Al Samar area in central Gaza City.

The same sources reported that one person was killed and others injured when occupation forces targeted a house near Al Shifa Tower, west of Gaza City.

The aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of 65,344 Palestinians, most of whom are children and women, and injuries to 166,795 others. A number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews face challenges reaching them amidst a severe humanitarian crisis.
