Beirut: One person was killed and three others injured Wednesday in a new Israeli raid on southern Lebanon. Local sources said that an Israeli drone launched an airstrike on the town of Beit Lif in the Bint Jbeil district, southern Lebanon, killing one person and wounding three others, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement signed between Lebanon and Israel.
According to Qatar News Agency, Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement announced on November 27 through repeated air and ground incursions and violations in southern Lebanon and the border areas. This is despite the agreement stipulating the occupation’s withdrawal from the villages and towns it had invaded within 60 days.
Israeli forces remain stationed in more than 30 Lebanese villages and towns.
