One Killed, Three Injured in Israeli Drone Strike on Mount Lebanon

Doha: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that an Israeli drone strike on Khaldeh area in Mount Lebanon Governorate resulted in the death of one person and injuries to three others.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the ministry reported that the drone targeted a vehicle on the highway in Khaldeh, leaving one person dead and three others wounded, according to preliminary figures.

Earlier today, the Lebanese National News Agency said that Israeli drones fired three missiles at the vehicle, causing not only casualties but also material damage to the surrounding area and disrupting traffic on the highway.

The ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel, which came into effect on November 27 last year, stipulated the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from southern Lebanese border villages within 60 days. However, Israeli troops have remained stationed at five points and continue to violate the agreement intermittently.
