Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman held separate phone calls on Sunday with King Felipe VI of Spain and King Philippe of Belgium to discuss the escalating military tensions in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders exchanged views on the latest developments and the potential consequences for the security and stability of countries in the region.

During the conversations, they stressed the importance of strengthening regional and international efforts and working towards diplomatic solutions to stop the escalation.

The calls also underscored the need for coordinated international action aimed at reducing tensions and supporting stability.
