Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman discussed developments in the region in a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. Their conversation focused on the ongoing diplomatic efforts to bring viewpoints closer together in support of security and stability and to ensure maritime navigation and international commercial traffic.

According to Qatar News Agency, they also addressed advancing existing bilateral cooperation and partnership in multiple areas. The leaders emphasized the importance of these efforts in maintaining regional security and fostering stronger ties between Oman and France.
