Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman held a phone call on Thursday with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, during which they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them across various fields. The conversation highlighted mutual interests and the desire to enhance cooperation between Oman and Austria.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides also discussed the ceasefire agreement between the Israeli entity and Iran, emphasizing the importance of preserving security and stability in the Middle East. They underscored the need to promote dialogue, resolve disputes through peaceful means, and prioritize wisdom and the higher interests of nations.
