Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi, and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noel Barrot, discussed regional developments over the phone on Saturday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides exchanged views on regional ties and the Iranian nuclear dossier's updates. They also focused on efforts to support de-escalation and emphasized the importance of encouraging parties to return to the negotiating table. The goal of these discussions is to reach consensual and fair solutions to outstanding issues, which would consolidate all parties' legitimate rights and preserve the region's security and stability.
