Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi engaged in a phone conversation with Palestinian Vice President Hussein Al Sheikh to deliberate over the ongoing crisis in the Palestinian territories, with a focus on the situation in the Gaza Strip. The discussions centered around the Israeli actions and the severe conditions faced by civilians due to the ongoing siege and starvation policies.

According to Qatar News Agency, both leaders underscored the necessity for regional and international collaboration to cease the aggression, lift the blockade on Gaza, and facilitate the unhindered delivery of humanitarian assistance. They highlighted the importance of sustaining diplomatic, political, and legal initiatives to revive meaningful negotiations aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace, based on international guidelines and the two-state solution.
