Geneva: Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi held a bilateral meeting in Geneva with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, ahead of the latest round of indirect Iran-US negotiations to take place Thursday under the auspices of the Sultanate of Oman.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers discussed the latest developments and reviewed the perspectives and proposals that the Iranian side will present in order to reach an agreement on Iran's nuclear file, based on the guiding principles agreed upon during the previous round of negotiations.
The Omani Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country's continued commitment to supporting and facilitating the ongoing negotiations to bridge differences and help the negotiations reach acceptable and sustainable solutions regarding Iran's nuclear program and its future trajectory.
Albusaidi is also expected to meet with the US negotiating team today to convey Iran's perspectives and, in turn, listen to the ideas and proposals put forward by the American side.
