Muscat: Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, met on Wednesday with Norway's State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik, who is visiting the sultanate. During the meeting, the two officials discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and expand cooperation across various fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, the officials reviewed several regional and international developments. They exchanged views on the importance of creating conditions conducive to de-escalation, intensifying efforts to reduce tensions, and supporting political and diplomatic solutions to preserve regional security and stability, in line with international law.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination on issues of mutual interest. They also supported efforts aimed at promoting security, stability, and peace in the region and beyond.
