Oman, Jordan Monarchs Discuss Regional Updates, De-Escalation Efforts

Doha: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and King Abdullah II of Jordan discussed, during a telephone call today, developments in the region as well as the regional and international efforts to calm tensions and reduce escalation in order to preserve the region's security and stability, and ensure the safety of navigation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation highlighted the commitment of both leaders to collaborate on maintaining peace and stability in the region. The monarchs emphasized the importance of diplomatic measures to address ongoing challenges and the necessity of ensuring secure maritime routes, which are vital for international trade and communication.

The discussion between the leaders of Oman and Jordan reflects a shared interest in fostering a secure environment and underscores the significance of regional cooperation in achieving these objectives.
