London: Oil prices rose today, hitting their highest level in three weeks. Brent crude futures increased by 89 cents, or 1.3 percent, reaching USD 71.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures climbed 93 cents, or 1.4 percent, to USD 69.38 a barrel.
According to Qatar News Agency, Brent crude experienced a 3 percent rise last week, while WTI posted weekly gains of about 2.2 percent. This upward trend in oil prices reflects ongoing market dynamics and supply-demand factors influencing the global energy sector.
