Oil Falls on Higher US Crude Inventories

Oil prices fell on Tuesday on estimates showing an increase in US crude inventories.

Brent crude futures fell 9 cents, or 0.1%, to $77.11 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude lost 12 cents, or 0.2%, to $73.05 a barrel.

According to market sources citing figures from the American Petroleum Institute, US crude inventories rose by about 347,000 barrels last week.
