Muscat: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) welcomed the prisoner and detainee exchange agreement in Yemen, which was signed in Muscat, Oman. In a statement Wednesday, the OIC General Secretariat hoped that this agreement will contribute to advancing the path of peace and stability in Yemen, and alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.

According to Qatar News Agency, the statement reaffirmed the OIC's firm and supportive stance toward all efforts aimed at achieving security, peace, and stability in Yemen, in line with the aspirations of its people.
