Hebron: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territory considered that the detention of two children by Israeli occupation forces for approximately 30 minutes in Hebron in the occupied West Bank once again demonstrates the daily cruelty experienced by Palestinians, including children.
According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces detained two siblings (aged 6 and 8) on Monday while they were playing football near their home in the Old City of Hebron.
OCHA affirmed in a statement that Palestinian children's rights to life, health, education, freedom of movement, and other rights are violated on a daily basis. Every day, children are killed, injured, or arbitrarily detained by Israeli forces in the occupied Palestinian territory.
It reiterated its call for accountability for such violations, an end to the occupation, and the realization of the two-state solution.
