NMoQ Celebrates World Children’s Day with Educational Events.

Doha: The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) has announced a comprehensive lineup of educational activities to celebrate World Children's Day, which will take place next Wednesday. According to Qatar News Agency, the event schedule features a variety of activities, including a collaborative artwork project where children will build a miniature version of the museum. Additionally, storytelling sessions titled "The Most Beautiful Day of My Life" will highlight Qatari traditions, values, and the joy of giving. The museum has also organized interactive games that teach children about parents' rights and provide key information about Qatar. Reading adventures in Arabic will inspire children to explore various reading materials, from books to newspapers, in an engaging manner. Families are encouraged to participate in an interactive adventure through the museum's galleries and family exhibits, allowing children to expand their knowledge of Qatar's environment, heritage, and culture. HE Director of NMoQ Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Thani emphasized the importance of empowering children as future architects by providing the right tools and support. He noted that World Children's Day is an opportunity to invest in children's potential and celebrate their creativity, promoting their development as future leaders. Families across Qatar are invited to participate in this unique celebration. The events are open to all, welcoming children of all ages to join in the festivities with their families. World Children's Day, established in 1954 as Universal Children's Day, is celebrated annually on November 20 to foster international unity, raise awareness among children worldwide, and improve children's welfare.
