Gaza city: A Palestinian was killed and others were injured Sunday as a result of shelling by Israeli occupation forces on the center of Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that a Palestinian was killed and several others were injured, some seriously, due to an Israeli drone strike on a group of citizens near Yarmouk Stadium on Al Wahda Street in the center of Gaza City.

Six Palestinians sustained injuries from Israeli occupation gunfire in the Al Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, and from artillery shelling in the city center. In a related incident, a young man lost his life when the roof of a house, previously damaged by Israeli bombing, collapsed in the Yarmouk area in the center of Gaza City.

Sources in Gaza Strip hospitals indicated that the death toll from Israeli bombing since dawn has risen to 8 martyrs. Overall, since October 7, 2023, the death toll from Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has increased to 72,292, with 172,073 individuals injured.
