New delhi: The India AI Impact Summit 2026 kicked off today in New Delhi, India, with broad participation including heads of state and CEOs of the world's leading technology companies. The summit will run until February 20.
According to Qatar News Agency, in his opening address, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of transforming artificial intelligence from a mere technological tool into a means of achieving social inclusion.
The summit is discussing three main themes: "People, Planet, and Progress." Practical solutions aimed at integrating AI into vital sectors such as healthcare and sustainable agriculture were also presented.
Concurrently, the summit's accompanying technology exhibition opened, showcasing innovations from over 300 startups and global companies in international pavilions. These companies offer diverse perspectives on data governance, information security, and real-time translation technologies.
