National Earthquake Center (NEC) has announced recording six tremors ranging between 2.4 and 3.4 magnitudes on the Richter Scales over the past 24 hours.
The center said in a statement on Wednesday that the stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network recorded, from yesterday evening until 2:00 am today, six tremors, including two tremors in Turkey, and two others in Liwa Iskenderun, the strongest of which was with a magnitude of 3.4.
The center noted that two tremors were also recorded in the Mediterranean Sea northwest of Lattakia, the first of which was at a depth of 50 km and with a magnitude of 2.9, while the second was with a magnitude of 3.0.
