Doha: The National Committee for International Humanitarian Law held its first meeting of 2025 at its headquarters in the Ministry of Justice, chaired by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Chairperson of the Committee, Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Chairman of the Committee praised the achievements of the committee members and highlighted the activities and events they organized during the committee’s previous sessions.

The committee reviewed the agenda for the first meeting of 2025, including proposed activities to be organized throughout the year. These initiatives aim to enhance the Committee’s role in disseminating and raising awareness among society and relevant parties about the provisions and principles of international humanitarian law.
