Gaza: The Muslim World League (MWL) warned Friday the international community of the dire consequences of the Israeli occupation government's ongoing criminal behavior and its persistence in its horrific violations, with deliberate disregard for all international and humanitarian laws and norms.

According to Qatar News Agency, the MWL warned of the dire consequences of the shocking official declaration that Gaza City has entered a state of famine. The MWL's General Secretariat affirmed, in a statement, that this extremist government poses a serious threat to the Palestinians in particular, the region, and the international community in general. It is considered a major obstacle to all efforts to stop the war, protect civilians, and achieve the lasting, just, and comprehensive peace that everyone seeks for the region.

The statement renewed its urgent call for the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities and take an urgent and serious stand to put an end to this famine and genocide being perpetrated against the people of Gaza. It also called for deterrence of the war machine of the occupying government, which has persisted in its tyranny and disregard for the lives, rights, and human dignity of the Palestinian people.
