Doha: The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the horrific attack on a mosque in El Fasher city in the Republic of Sudan, which resulted in the deaths of dozens of civilians. In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, the MWL denounced this treacherous assault as a blatant violation of international laws and norms, reiterating the necessity of upholding moral values, international laws, and the principles outlined in the "Jeddah Declaration" regarding the protection of civilians and civilian facilities.
According to Qatar News Agency, the MWL also reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Sudanese people, pledging to utilize all its resources to alleviate their suffering.
