Mutual Dependence Forum on Partnerships and Cooperation Kicks Off in Lusail.

Lusail: The training forum focusing on partnerships and national and international cooperation, titled 'Mutual Dependence,' began on Tuesday. Organized by the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) in collaboration with Lusail University, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation Council, Al Jazeera Media Institute, and Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event seeks to strengthen institutional capacities and enhance cooperation across sectors. According to Qatar News Agency, Rashid Al Nuaimi, Director of the Licensing and Support Department at RACA, emphasized in his opening speech that this fourth edition of the training forum is part of the 'Tamkeen - 2024' program. This strategic initiative aims to build institutional capacities, anticipate future challenges, and foster partnerships and cooperation to devise innovative solutions for the humanitarian and development sectors. Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, the CEO's assistant for the Resourc es Development and Communication sector at Qatar Charity, commended the Qatari charitable sector's ongoing efforts in both local and international humanitarian work. His remarks highlighted the sector's commitment to addressing various challenges through strategic partnerships. In a related symposium, Dr. Mohamed Salah Ibrahim, Director of Relief and International Programs Division at Qatar Red Crescent Society, underscored the potential of artificial intelligence technologies in improving the organization's performance. He noted that the integration of technology and AI is crucial for facilitating access to information and enhancing collaboration among organizations in the charitable field. The three-day forum, hosted by Lusail University, includes workshops and training sessions on topics such as enhancing capacities for charitable coordination, understanding the global charitable landscape, and addressing challenges with suitable solutions. The event also aims to explore collaborative opportunities betwe en charitable and private sectors and includes a panel discussion on the media's role in fostering partnerships and safeguarding corporate reputation.
