Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index 30 witnessed a decline on Wednesday, closing at 6,187.19 points. This marks a decrease of 59.2 points or 0.948 percent from the previous close, which was at 6,246.39 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading value for the day was OMR 32,239,868, reflecting a rise of 31.8 percent compared to the previous session, which had a trading value of OMR 24,458,168. Despite this increase in trading value, the market value experienced a downturn, decreasing by 0.326 percent to approximately OMR 33.21 billion, as per the MSX report.
