Gaza: Doctors Without Borders (MSF) on Friday described the Israeli-backed aid distribution plan in Gaza as "deadly," calling for its immediate termination due to the grave danger it poses to the lives of civilians in the Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, MSF emphasized that the aid distribution plan, launched a month ago, humiliates Palestinians and calls for its immediate termination. The organization highlighted that the plan forces Palestinians to choose between starvation and risking their lives, stating, "This plan, which has killed more than 500 people and injured nearly 4,000 others while trying to obtain food, is genocide under the guise of humanitarian aid and must be ended immediately."
MSF also urged the occupation and its allies to lift the blockade on food, fuel, medical, and humanitarian supplies and to return to the existing humanitarian aid system previously coordinated by the United Nations.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced last Thursday that 33 civilians were killed and 267 others were injured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people waiting for aid to 549 and more than 4,066 injured.
