Morocco is an great model for cooperation with countries outside its geographical neighborhood, British MP Liam Fox said in Rabat on Wednesday.
Morocco “is a best example of countries that are working with others that are functionally similar to them, even if they are not geographically proximate,” Fox told the press following his talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita.
“I think this is a great model for the 21st century that we will find countries that are like us, not necessarily our next door neighbors with which to build a greater understanding and a greater commonality of policies,” he added.
Welcoming the constructive meeting with Bourita, he said that discussions had covered a number of regional, political, economic and security issues of common interest.
