Remittances from Moroccans living abroad reached around 65.97 billion dirhams ($ 6.46 billion) in the first seven months of 2023, according to the Exchange Office.
The figure represents a 10% increase compared to the the same period of 2022, the Office pointed out in a note on the monthly indicators of foreign trade for the month of July.
The service trade balance recorded a surplus up 51.4% (+25.11 billion dirhams) to 73.94 billion dirhams for the first seven months of the year compared to 48.82 billion dirhams a year earlier.
