Ministry of interior: The Ministry of Interior (MOI), represented by the Public Relations Department, has been awarded the Innovation in Media Campaigns Award at the Government Communications Office (GCO) Awards during the Government Communications Forum 2026. This event witnessed substantial participation from governmental and semi-governmental entities.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Director of the Government Communications Office Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani presented the award to Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Muftah, the Director of the Public Relations Department at the MOI. The MOI was recognized for its innovative approach in media messaging, utilizing a comprehensive blend of tools and platforms to effectively reach various societal segments. This initiative has significantly enhanced public awareness regarding safety and prevention, thereby strengthening the overall efficiency of government communication.
