The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) reviewed preparations for the academic year 2023/2024 with the principals of private schools and kindergartens.
Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs at MOEHE Omar Al Naama held several online meetings with 355 principals of private schools and kindergartens.
Al Naama expressed his gratitude for the efforts made during the past academic year and hoped that the momentum of providing a motivating educational environment would continue.
He addressed the key axes that school administrations are required to follow which include the well-preparation of school buildings and facilities, maintenance procedures as well as testing safety and security devices and their proper installations.
Al Naama stressed the importance of informing the school staff of all the key information, laws, regulations and circulars to make sure that everyone is aware and adherent.
Following the profession’s ethics, duties and responsibilities stated by the ethical charter is necessary for school owners, principals, employees, teachers, students, parents, councils and other related professions, Al Naama added.
There is also a need to adhere to educational plans and standards in accordance with the terms selected, which is the main foundation of any school or kindergarten since it paves the way to achieve desired goals according to the vision and aspirations.
Al Naama furthermore noted the importance of parents to learn of the school policies by all means available including websites.
