This initiative emphasizes the critical relationship between individuals and their surroundings, highlighting how responsible environmental conduct can protect ecosystems and conserve natural resources.

According to Qatar News Agency, the slogan captures the essence of environmental responsibility as a collective duty shared by individuals and relevant stakeholders. This is reflected in daily actions such as maintaining vegetation cover, keeping parks clean, safeguarding marine life, and adhering to environmental laws and regulations. These practices reinforce the idea of environmental sustainability.

Qatar Environment Day, celebrated annually on February 26, serves to promote environmental belonging by shifting perceptions of the environment from a consumable resource to a value that needs preservation. The language used in the slogan is clear and accessible, aiming to resonate with all societal segments and instill environmental awareness across various age groups.

In celebration of the day, the ministry plans to host several awareness activities designed to strengthen the community's connection to the local environment.
