Ministry of Municipality Finalizes Eid Al Fitr Holiday Preparations Across Qatar

Doha: The Ministry of Municipality has completed all preparations to ensure families enjoy an exceptional Eid Al Fitr holiday by enhancing recreational facilities, parks, and public gardens throughout Qatar. The ministry's efforts focus on maintaining a safe and relaxing environment for visitors by boosting maintenance and cleanliness efforts and organizing a variety of activities suitable for all age groups.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry has taken extensive measures to prepare public parks and recreational spaces. This includes deploying additional cleaning and maintenance teams, providing comfortable seating areas, ensuring clean public facilities, and maintaining green spaces. As part of its digital transformation initiatives, the ministry has introduced an online reservation service for recreational facilities, simplifying family visit planning. Additionally, a new app has been launched to provide users with convenient access to event timings and recreational locations.

Director of the Public Parks Department at the Ministry of Municipality, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sada, confirmed to QNA that all public parks are fully prepared to welcome visitors during the Eid Al Fitr holiday. He emphasized the completion of various improvements aimed at ensuring a pleasant experience for families and park-goers. Al Sada elaborated on readiness measures, such as enhanced cleaning efforts, round-the-clock maintenance teams, and intensified visitor safety monitoring. Parks are now equipped with comfortable seating areas and play zones for children, and will follow a planned schedule to ensure smooth visitor flow and provide necessary services during the holiday.

Abdullah Ibrahim Al Sada, General Director of the Municipality of Al Khor and Al Thakhira, informed QNA that the municipality is prepared to welcome visitors during the holiday. He noted that all parks and recreational areas in the region have undergone essential maintenance work, with security personnel instructed to cooperate with visitors to ensure their comfort and safety. Entry to parks will be free, except for Al Khor Park, which will maintain its entry fee.

Regarding measures for visitor satisfaction and safety, Al Sada highlighted the municipality's focus on completing essential maintenance and equipping green spaces, while guiding security teams to assist visitors. He encouraged adherence to park rules and guidelines for the benefit of all. Furthermore, he announced the municipality's participation in the Spring Festival in Al Khor, organized by the Al Khor Cultural Center at Ain Hleetan market on the fourth day of Eid. The municipality's involvement will feature engaging recreational and awareness activities on waste segregation and recycling to promote environmental consciousness and sustainable development.

The ministry assures that its recreational facilities offer an ideal choice for celebrating the Eid holiday in a safe and comfortable atmosphere, featuring exceptional services and diverse activities for the entire family.
