Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hosts Workshop on Attaches and Government Staffers

Doha: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by its Human Resources Department, recently held a workshop focused on attaches and staffers seconded from various ministries and government authorities. The event was attended by Abdulaziz bin Abdul Qader Mohammed Al Ahmad, the Director of the Ministry's Human Resources Department, along with other officials and representatives of government entities within the State.

According to Qatar News Agency, the workshop aimed to enhance institutional communication by acquainting participants with the rules and guidelines governing the roles of attaches and secondees. It covered their functional rights and duties, as well as procedures relevant to their missions during periods of attachment or secondment. The workshop further examined the categories eligible for financial allowances and differentials, along with the mechanisms for disbursing such payments to those serving abroad.

The event also provided a platform to address participants' inquiries and clarify the regulatory procedures, with a focus on unifying understanding of the regulations and guidelines to ensure their proper implementation.
