Doha: The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs has called upon Muslims in Qatar to observe the sighting of the crescent moon, which marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan. This observation is set for the evening of Tuesday, the 29th of Sha'ban 1447 AH, corresponding to February 17, 2026.
