Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced the completion and activation of the "Educational Institutions Licensing" platform, now available to provide comprehensive services to educational entities in Qatar. This initiative is part of the Ministry's efforts to advance the digital infrastructure of the private education sector and streamline administrative procedures for all relevant parties. According to Qatar News Agency, the platform is designed to enhance administrative efficiency and offer users a smooth and secure digital experience. Educational institutions can now obtain necessary licenses and follow up on procedures swiftly and effectively, thereby improving the quality of educational services. Omar Abdulaziz Al-Naama, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs, highlighted the platform as a significant step towards automating educational services, aligning with HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's directives to achieve Qatar's National Vision 2030. Al- Naama emphasized the platform's role in streamlining procedures and enhancing efficiency to support educational institutions and foster an attractive investment environment in the education sector, according to the country's needs. Dr. Mona Salem Al-Fadhli, Director of the Information Systems Department at the Ministry, noted that the platform represents a major stride in the Ministry's digital transformation, adhering to the latest technological standards. The platform offers a unified experience for electronic applications related to all licensing services for educational institutions, including nurseries, educational centers, schools, and private kindergartens. It facilitates the completion, management, and follow-up of investors' transactions through a single, fully automated portal, eliminating the need for physical visits to licensing departments. The platform provides a range of electronic services for investors, such as managing educational centers, issuing and renewing licenses, modifying center ac tivities, and handling changes in ownership or location. It also offers services for nursery management, including the issuance and renewal of licenses. Activating the "Educational Institutions Licensing Platform" is crucial in supporting Qatar's National Vision 2030 by providing modern infrastructure to improve private education quality and oversight of educational institutions. This enhances the quality of services offered by the Ministry to investors in the private education sector.
