Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), represented by the Training and Development Center, has successfully concluded the third edition of the "Successful Start" training program. This initiative saw the participation of 163 new male and female teachers, culminating in a final training workshop focused on the art of public speaking.
According to Qatar News Agency, the program spanned a full academic year, commencing in September 2024, and aimed to professionally empower new teachers. It was designed to facilitate their effective integration into the school environment through a combination of intensive theoretical and practical training. The curriculum included teaching skills, classroom management, effective lesson planning, guidance sessions, and specialized courses tailored to meet the teachers' needs.
Graduation projects are scheduled to be presented by the participants next week before judging panels. These projects will showcase the program's outcomes and the pedagogical skills developed by the teachers throughout the year.
Iman Al Mohannadi, Director of the Training and Development Center at MOEHE, highlighted that the program underscores the ministry's commitment to supporting and qualifying new teachers, aligning with the aspirations of the national education system. She also announced that the fourth edition of the program is set to launch at the beginning of the next academic year.
The "Successful Start" program is part of the annual initiatives aimed at enhancing the competence of new teachers and supporting their career paths in accordance with Qatar National Vision 2030.
