The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) opened Tuesday the 10th National Robotics Olympiad (NRO).
HE Undersecretary of the MoEHE, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi attended the inauguration of the two-day event themed Earth allies.
The event is bringing together students from both sexes from public and private schools from all educational stages.
Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, Maha Zayed Al Ruwaili hailed this edition as an educational legacy that has a place in the hearts of participating students, who seek to demonstrate their multi-skill thinking capabilities, especially in designing and programming educational robots, reflecting the State of Qatar’s visions and ambitions.
She added that this year’s theme is in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
Al Ruwaili expressed appreciation for the efforts of NRO partners from Doha University of Science and Technology to boost the championship, which provides new non-classroom training opportunities to enhance students digital
capabilities. appreciating the efforts of all participants, organizers and trainers in supporting educational activities.
A national competition with an international dimension, the NRO aims to develop higher thinking and teamwork skills among students, in addition to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, artificial intelligence and scientific research skills.
