Umm Al Seneem: The Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, through its Mosques Department, has officially opened the Mozah Mahmoud Abdullah Al Mahmoud Mosque in Umm Al Seneem. The mosque spans an area of 4,823 square meters.
According to Qatar News Agency, the mosque was endowed by Mozah Mahmoud Abdullah Al Mahmoud and aims to serve as a center for worship, prayer, remembrance, and Quranic recitation. This inauguration is part of the ministry's broader strategy to expand and improve mosques throughout the nation, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which addresses urban growth and increasing population demands.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs highlighted the significance of such endowments, noting that they represent some of the most commendable acts of devotion. The ministry described these contributions as continuous charitable deeds that offer perpetual spiritual rewards.
