London: HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani met Friday with HE Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Lt. Gen. Kamel Wazir. Held on the margin of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) General Assembly meetings in London, the meeting discussed the two countries' bilateral cooperation relations in the fields of transport, shipping and ports. The two sides also reviewed ways to further enhance these relations, particularly with regard to maritime navigation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the two ministers aimed at exploring new opportunities to strengthen collaboration in the transport sector. The meeting emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships and the potential for mutual benefits in the areas of infrastructure development and technological exchange. The ministers expressed their commitment to advancing their cooperation to support economic growth and development in both nations.
