Doha: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, met with HE Secretary-General of the International Civil Defense Organization, Arguj Kalantarli, during his visit to the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the ongoing cooperation between the State of Qatar and the International Civil Defense Organization. The discussions explored ways to enhance collaboration and develop rapid response mechanisms for natural disasters and humanitarian crises on a global scale.

HE Minister Al-Misnad emphasized Qatar’s dedication to maintaining its role in humanitarian and relief efforts worldwide. She highlighted the country’s focus on prioritizing humanitarian situations and the significance of partnerships with specialized international organizations in ensuring civilian protection and mitigating the impacts of natural disasters.
