Doha: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met with HE CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, Dr. Sania Nishtar, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly: Discussions were centered around strengthening cooperation between the State of Qatar and the alliance to support vaccination programs.

According to Qatar News Agency, both parties focused on expanding partnerships to ensure vaccine access to children in the most vulnerable communities. The meeting underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing global health challenges and improving immunization coverage.
