New york: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met with HE Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States, Rabab Fatima. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, focusing on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and the Office of the High Representative to support the most vulnerable nations in tackling development and humanitarian issues.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions highlighted the need for coordinated efforts to empower least developed countries, emphasizing the expansion of sustainable financing and the promotion of innovative initiatives for vulnerable communities. HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation reiterated Qatar's dedication to backing international efforts that promote sustainable development and build effective partnerships aimed at achieving the objectives of the 2030 Agenda.
