Doha: HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs and Chairman of Qatar Airways Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi met on Thursday with HE Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CAAC) Song Zhiyong. Discussions during the meeting dealt with relations and cooperation between Qatar and China in the civil aviation field and means to develop airline routes between both countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the People's Republic of China Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Dehaimi and In Charge of Managing Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) Mohammed Faleh Al Hajri. The discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral ties and exploring opportunities for expanded connectivity in the aviation sector between Qatar and China.
