Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi met with HE Massad Boulos, the Presidential Envoy and Senior Advisor for Africa at the US Department of State, during his visit to the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the strategic relations between Qatar and the United States, exploring ways to enhance these ties. The discussions also covered the recent developments in Sudan, the Sahel region, and the Great Lakes region, alongside regional and international efforts to support de-escalation and comprehensive political solutions in these areas.

HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized Qatar's commitment to resolving the armed conflict in Sudan through dialogue and peaceful means. He reiterated Qatar's unwavering support for Sudan's unity, independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as its backing for the aspirations of the Sudanese people for peace, development, and prosperity.
