Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi met with HE Somali President's Envoy, Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir Mohamed, and HE State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ali Mohamed Omar. The meeting focused on discussions about the cooperation relations between Qatar and Somalia, exploring ways to support and enhance these relations, and reviewing the latest developments in the region alongside other topics of mutual interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position in supporting the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Somalia. He affirmed Qatar's full support for the legitimate Somali state institutions and expressed Qatar's commitment to preserving Somalia's security and stability, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the interests of the Somali people.
