Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi received a phone call from HE International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi. The call focused on the military escalation in the region and its impact on security and stability, as well as exploring peaceful means to resolve disputes.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Minister emphasized Qatar's appreciation for IAEA's efforts in advancing international peace and security. HE the IAEA's Director General assured that the agency is monitoring the situation in the Middle East and called for restraint to prevent further escalation.
