Geneva: HE Minister of Public Health Mansoor bin Ebrahim Al Mahmoud held separate meetings with counterparts from Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Iran, and Cuba. The meetings took place alongside the ongoing World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva, where discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation in the health sector.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings involved HE Minister of Health of the Republic of Iraq Dr Saleh Al Hasnawi, HE Minister of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic Dr Musab Nazzal Al Ali, HE Acting Federal Minister of Health of the Republic of the Sudan Dr Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, HE Minister of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, and HE Minister of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba Dr Jose Angel Portal Miranda. Participants explored key agenda items under the theme "One World for Health" at the WHA.
