Doha: HE Minister of Labour Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri met on Monday with HE Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the State, Zaid Mufleh Al Lawzi. The two officials discussed the strong bilateral ties between Qatar and Jordan, exploring opportunities to further enhance cooperation, exchange expertise, and promote development across the labour sector.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen their collaboration in areas related to labour and workforce development. The discussions focused on identifying mutual interests and potential projects that could benefit both countries, particularly in enhancing workforce skills and capabilities.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of sharing experiences and best practices in labour management, with a view to improving standards and outcomes in both Qatar and Jordan. Both parties expressed their intention to continue dialogue and cooperation in the future to support their respective labour sectors.
