Minister of Justice Chairs Attorneys Admission Committee Meeting to Discuss Key Agenda Items

Doha: The attorneys Admission Committee, led by HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, convened recently to deliberate on various critical agenda items, including the administration of the attorney oath to five new attorneys. The meeting also involved reviewing applications from individuals with equivalent qualifications for registration as practicing lawyers and considering the transfer of lawyers to the register of those qualified to appear before the Court of Cassation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the committee also focused on examining several regulatory matters and professional guidelines pertaining to the legal profession. This included reviewing reports from subcommittees, upon which the committee made necessary decisions.

During the session, HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs emphasized the committee's dedication to creating an environment that enables lawyers to fulfill their crucial role in serving society and enhancing Qatar's legal and judicial system. He highlighted the significance of continuous professional development through training programs to improve legal skills and ensure the highest level of competence in practicing law.
