Minister of Interior Meets with GCC Counterparts to Discuss Security Collaboration

Doha: HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani met with Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the Ministers of Interior of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, who attended the joint tactical drill of the security agencies of the GCC States, "Arabian Gulf Security 4".

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Minister engaged in discussions with HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, HE Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Lt Gen Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and HE Minister of Interior of the Sultanate of Oman, Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi.

The meeting focused on a range of shared interests, exploring ways to enhance cooperation and coordination to support the security and stability of the countries in the region. The discussions highlighted the importance of collective efforts in addressing regional security challenges and fostering a secure environment for all member states.
